Our Filter & Cartridge Cleaner (1L bottle) is specially formulated to deep-clean spa and hot tub filters, removing the oils, grease, and debris that build up during regular hot tub use. Over time, filters trap body oils, lotions, and small particles from the water, which can clog the filter material and reduce circulation.
Using a dedicated filter cleaner helps restore filtration performance, allowing your spa system to circulate water properly and maintain excellent water clarity. Regular cleaning also extends the life of your filter cartridge, meaning it won’t need replacing as often.
To clean a cartridge filter, simply remove the filter from your spa, rinse away loose debris with a hose, and soak it overnight in a diluted cleaning solution. After soaking, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry before reinstalling.

Usage guidance for sand filters
Backwash your sand filter, drain and isolate it. Refill with water, add the cleaner, and soak overnight. Rinse to waste for at least 2 minutes before returning the filter to normal use.
Usage guidance for cartridge filters
Remove the cartridge and screens, flush away loose debris, and soak overnight in a 5% cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly, allow to dry, then reassemble before reinstalling.
How much to add
Use the recommended amount of cleaner mixed into water before soaking the filter. This ensures even cleaning and restores filtration efficiency.
